Great Design Team For The High Park Condo

The High ParkTo ensure a successful debut in Toronto‘s condo market, an A-team of designers was brought together to style The High Park.

The 11-storey mid-rise planned for 1990 Bloor St. W., just across from the 161-hectare High Park — the largest park within the city. It is the first such project by development firm North Drive.

Dipping into the city‘s design talent pool, the young partners hired on Quandrangle Architects co-founder Brian Curtner, interior designer Anna Simone of Cecconi Simone, and landscape architect Janet Rosenberg.

“We wanted to ensure the design would never be compromised,” explains company co-founder Jordan Morassutti. “Because this is our first project, we made a decision to piggyback off of best-in-class consultants.”

We’ve waited quite a few years for the abandoned, boarded-up houses on Bloor between Pacific and Oakmount to be transformed, and it looks like the wait will be worth it. Hopefully the result will be a landmark building suitable to the location.
